On April 14, 2022, Elsevier officially released the list of “2021 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” and 101 HUST scholars were on the list. With respect to the number of scholars, HUST ranked the 6th among universities in Chinese mainland, which is a significant progress compared with last year. Among them, Professor Lu Yaobin, Professor Li Zhichun, Professor Bao Yukun, Professor Deng Zhaohua and Associate Professor Zhao Ling from School of Management were on the list of Management Science and Engineering Discipline.
According to the statistics by disciplines, the 101 selected scholars of HUST are distributed among 25 first-level disciplines. SOM ranked 6th in HUST in the number of selected scholars.
