SOM held the lecture on NUS “3+1+1” program

On the evening of December 15th, the lecture on NUS “3+1+1” program was held in Classroom 116. It is a program cooperated by National University of Singapore and its Suzhou Research Institute as well as School of Management, Huazhong University of Science & Technology. Yang Qinghua, director of “3+1+1” program of Suzhou Research Institute, NUS, Xu Lingyun, vice president of Singapore Xinhua International Education Group, Zhang Qin, manager of “3+1+1” program deliver the presentation on spot. Meanwhile, Chen Nan, deputy director of industrial engineering system and management department of NUS joined the lecture via video. The lecure was hosted by Li Jiangmei, deputy director of International Affairs Office of School of Management.



At the beginning, Zhang Qin introducedthe Suzhou Research Institute, NUS to the students through a short video, and then she introduced the program background, application requirements and procedures, pathway courses, graduation requirements and career plan in details. Later, Zhang Qin video connected Chen Nan, who stressed the applicaton requirements and listed the matters needing attention, and talked about the tuition fees and costs, cirriculum, and graduation thesis requirements. Finally, he introduced the Industrial and System Engineering Program in NUS in details. In the Q&A session, Chen Nan and Zhang Qin answered students’ questions about the prerequisite, english proficiency etc., and then the WeChat group was established for further communication. The lecure was completed successfully.
