SOM successfully attained AMBA re-accreditation

On February 1st, the School of Management received the official letter from the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (referred to as AMBA) , notifying that the AMBA re-accreditation has been endorsement by AMBA’s International Accreditation Advisory Board with longest period of validity being five years.

The AMBA Re-accreditation Conference was held online for three days from December 8th to 10th, 2020 between the school and the accreditation panel members of Andrew Lock, panel chair of AMBA&BGA International Accreditation Consulting Committee, Wang Zhongming, international consultant of AMBA and director of Global Entrepreneurship Research Center of Zhejiang University, Stephanie Villemagne, associate dean of IE Business School, IE University and George Iliev, director of Strategic Projects & Innovation, Accreditation & China.

 

At the conference, the panel members communicated with Xu Xiaodong, vice president of HUST, Wang Zongjun, dean of the School of Management, other school board members, and representatives from MBA and EMBA Education Centers respectively, and discussed the overall development of the school, mission and vision, faculty, the program development strategy, program marketing and curriculum design. The panel highly affirmed the achievements of the school in recent years and put forward valuable suggestions for future development of the programs.

 

The award of AMBA re-accreditation with longest period of validity being five years. fully demonstrates the international first-class education standard of our MBA and EMBA programs. The school will adhere to the vision of becoming a first-class and renowned school of management both at home and abroad, continuously improve the comprehensive strength and the quality of education, and further enhance the level of internationalization.
