On January 13th, our school received the honor of the “Advanced Collective in International Exchange and Cooperation” for the second consecutive year, which is a testament to our commitment to global engagement and collaboration. The Chair of the Board, Yanhua Hu, gracefully accepted this award on behalf of our school at HUST. In addition, our Associate Professor of Marketing, Mengyang Wang, was also recognized for his exemplary contributions, earning the award “Advanced Individual in International Exchange and Cooperation”.
In the year 2023, the school, with a thriving attitude, will take solid steps for development. Our school proactively changed strategies of internationalization into actions, redoubled our efforts in deepening international partnership and cooperation, cultivated a number of students and faculty with global vision, and expanded the global influence in academia.
The school actively expands global partnerships and has established close cooperative relations with well-known universities in Europe, North America, Asia, and other countries and regions, which not only enriches the international vision of teachers and students but also injects new vitality into the research and teaching of the school. In addition, the school also actively promotes the international accreditation as a business school, optimizes talent cultivation programs, and establishes an international talent training mechanism. The structure of the faculty of the school is also constantly optimized; the proportion of teachers with overseas experience is increasing year by year; and the agglomeration effect of high-level talents has begun to appear. The number of published high-level papers ranked the top in business schools in China, remarkable achievements have been made in the contribution of ESI, and the international influence of the academic community has gradually increased.
In the year ahead, our school will continue to implement “Huazhong University of Science and Technology Global Development Strategy 2030”, leverage the advantages of international communications and cooperation, mobilize internationalization, and inject new vitality into the comprehensive development of our school.
