SUMMER SCHOOL DESCRIPTION:
To promote the cultivation of high-end composite talents in intellectual property rights worldwide, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology jointly organize the Intellectual Property Summer School. The summer school focuses on "Intellectual Property Rights and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs)," covering two main areas: "Patents and Trade Secrets: Enhancing SMEs' Innovation Capability and Competitiveness through Intellectual Property Rights" and "Trademarks and Copyrights: The Business Value of Intellectual Property Rights for SMEs." The aim is to facilitate a deeper understanding among outstanding young students, scholars, practitioners, and relevant government officials of the competitive edge and sustainable growth value that intellectual property rights bring to innovative entrepreneurial enterprises. It also provides an international platform for high-end intellectual property talent exchange, sharing, and interaction.
