Two Professors from HUST School of Management Make It onto Clarivate's 2025 Highly Cited Researchers List

Recently, two professors from the School of Management at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) have been recognized as 2025 Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate.

Professor Lu Yaobin secured his place in the Social Sciences category for the third consecutive year. Professor Wang Lin earned his first selection in the Cross-Field category, highlighting his interdisciplinary research impact.

The prestigious list identifies researchers whose work is among the most cited globally. This year, HUST has 20 scholars on the list, underscoring the university's growing research influence. Their inclusion reflects both personal academic excellence and the University's strength in fostering high-impact, interdisciplinary research.

Lu Yaobin is a professor in the Department of Information Management and Data Science at School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology specializes in information systems, business analytics, and AI governance. He has held key national academic committee roles and serves as Associate Editor for Information & Management. His research, published in leading journals such as MIS Quarterly, includes directing major national research projects. Recognized for sustained academic impact, he has been a Highly Cited Scholar by Elsevier for 11 consecutive years and a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher since 2023.

Wang Lin is a professor in the Department of Management Science at the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on big-data business analytics, artificial intelligence applications, and smart logistics and supply chain management. He has led multiple major national research projects and has been recognized with several provincial and ministerial awards. He maintains deep collaborations with key state-owned enterprises such as CGN, China Three Gorges Corporation, and State Grid, helping them enhance cost efficiency and risk control. Serving as an expert reviewer for national research funds and a council member of the China Logistics Society, Professor Wang has been consistently ranked among the world's top 2% scientists from 2020 to 2025. He is also a dedicated educator, having received multiple awards for teaching excellence and student guidance.
