The 2024 CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list has been pre-released, with 18 scholars from HUST School of Management making the Top 1% ranking, demonstrating the school's academic influence.
The selected scholars (in alphabetical order of initial letters of surnames) include: Yaping Chang, Zhaohua Deng, Lirong Long, Yaobin Lu, Zhiqiang Liu, Jianbin Li, Jianqiao Liao, Shihua Ma, Zhilong Tian, Haijun Wang, Zongjun Wang, Chao Yang, Jun Yang, Xiang Yu, Jianguo Yuan, Xiaodong Yuan, and Zhaoguo Zhang.
The ranking uses the Paper Citation Standardized Index (PCSI) to evaluate academic impact from 2014 to 2023. From 3.35 million authors, the top 1% (about 30,000 scholars) and top 5% (about 89,000 scholars) were selected based on PCSI scores. Requirements include exceeding baseline PCSI and publishing at least 5 qualified papers, including 1 high-impact paper.
This recognition highlights both individual achievements and the school's overall research strength.
