From May 7th to 11th, a delegation led by Wang Haijun, Associate Dean of the School of Management at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) visited the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Management University (SMU) to deepen student international cooperation.
During his visit to the National University of Singapore (NUS), Wang Haijun signed the renewal of the "3+1+1" joint-training program agreement and conducted a collaboration talk with NUS. To date, eight outstanding undergraduates from the School of Management has participated in this program.
During the visit to the Singapore Management University (SMU), Wang Haijun held in-depth discussions with Professor Zhang Liandong, Vice Dean of SMU’s School of Accountancy, and Professor Wang Jiwei, Director of the MPA (Master of Professional Accounting) and MSA (Master of Science in Financial Big Data Analytics) programs. Both sides exchanged views on the implementation of ongoing cooperation initiatives, including direct-entry master's programs, dual-degree master's programs, and fast-track programs, as well as optimization plans and agreement renewals. Next, the two institutions will focus on program implementation and explore collaborations in executive education and joint Ph.D. training Program.
This visit strengthened the partnership between HUST’s School of Management and Singapore’s leading universities, laying a solid foundation for enhancing the school’s internationalization efforts and cultivating management talents with a global perspective.
